Getting Ready for Danny’s Farm

This coming Saturday, the 9th of September, members of SMHS Titanium Robotics will be taking part in Fall Classic for the Farm, a benefit for children with Autism. The event is run by the Danny’s Farm non-profit organization. Former Dodger Pitcher Jim Gott and his wife Cathy founded for their son, Danny Gott, who is diagnosed with Autism. The organization works to provide opportunities for the learning and understanding of Autism, offer a friendly and loving space for those with special needs, and find employment for adults with developmental disabilities. It does so through petting farms such as the Fall Classic for the Farm.

At the benefit, there will be a petting farm for guests and activities with the San Marino High School baseball team. Visitors can get autographs from, and photos with, MLB greats as well as help themselves to Dodger Dogs. There will also be face painting and a silent auction. MLB players, such as the Dodgers’ Orel “The Bulldog” Hershiser, will speak while Titanium Robotics shoots from their T-Shirt Cannon into the crowd. Come down to San Marino High School’s McNamee Field during 10 am to 1 pm and support the cause! It’s fun for all!
